Descrizione del lavoro

My latest solo exhibition in august 2014 titled Lost Work explores the theme of an unfinished and expanding creative work. Theme is inspired by unfinished work of a Finnish composer Jean Sibelius and a Italian writer Italo Calvino. Jean Sibelius is believed to have worked the mythical eighth symphony for nearly 30 years. Sibelius probably burned the manuscript in 1945. Italo Calvino's Six Memos to the Next Millenium is a book based on a series of lectures for the Harvard, but never delivered as Calvino died before leaving Italy. At the time of his death Calvino had finished all but the last lecture.
